Dream chasing is either black OR white! The way you handle the process is that POP of color! This month marks SIX MONTHS since I launched my Online Boutique, DDCsDesignFinds!!! I am shouting, “To GOD be the glory for the GOOD thing He has done”!!!
In this 6 months, I’ve learned alot about the boutique business. I found that all of your friends won’t support your business. Some wont even wish you success. I detest making website updates. I HATE counting and REcounting inventory…but HEY, recounting inventory means SALES!!!I’ve had to issue 3 refunds and 2 store credits. I’ve had to up my accounting skills to make sure my taxes and financials are accurate! I’ve had more marketing meetings than I’d care to…..annnnd I WOULDN’T CHANGE A THING!!! Its called growth!!!
On the flip side, I spend time doing what I love most…..SHOPPING and making people feel good!!!!! The testimonials from happy customers warm my heart and far outweigh any complaint!!! Pictures I get from women exuding confidence, wearing MY pieces bless my soul!! I made a $12,000.00 investment, trusted God and launched with a KILLER fashion show! I’ve made valuable industry connections. Interviewed on one radio show and two podcasts!!! Had four of my initial items to SELL OUT….including THIS blouse from my fashion show that sold out THAT NIGHT!!! Sampled and sold out of my shoes!!! Introduced a line for my plus size beauties!!! I’m launching pieces from my Fall line NEXT WEEK!!! I’ve found a seamstress to produce my Spring 2019 line from MY DESIGNS!!!
